Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how SAT-A-DAY (the "Service", "we", "us"), an SMS service operated by Natick Media LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company, collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Service.
1.Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to operate the Service:
- The first name provided at subscription, used to personalize messages.
- The mobile phone number provided at subscription, used to deliver messages.
- Your replies to messages we send (your selected answer letter or other text).
- Interaction metadata, including timestamps, the question identifier currently active for your number, and a record of which questions have been answered and whether each was correct.
- A record of your age confirmation and SMS consent from the sign-up form, including the date and time the consent was given, the IP address from which the form was submitted, and the consent text shown to you at the time. This is retained as proof of consent for compliance purposes.
We do not collect your last name, address, email, location, contacts, or any other personal data beyond what is listed above.
2.How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to:
- Deliver practice questions to your phone.
- Grade your replies and return explanations.
- Avoid sending you the same question twice within a short window.
- Compute simple performance summaries (such as accuracy by subject area), which may be displayed back to you upon request.
- Maintain a record of your consent for compliance purposes.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the Service. We do not sell your information, and mobile information and SMS opt-in data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
3.How We Store and Protect Your Information
Your information is stored in a Postgres database operated by Supabase, Inc., and processed by serverless functions hosted by Vercel, Inc. Access to the database is restricted to authorized server-side processes via secret credentials. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
4.Third-Party Service Providers
The Service relies on the following third-party providers, each of which processes data on our behalf:
- Twilio, Inc. — SMS delivery. Twilio's privacy practices are described in Twilio's privacy policy.
- Supabase, Inc. — database hosting.
- Vercel, Inc. — application hosting and scheduled task execution.
We share with these providers only the minimum information needed for them to perform their function. We do not share your information with any other third parties.
5.Data Retention
We retain your phone number and answer history while you are subscribed to the Service. If you reply STOP, we will stop sending you messages and may delete your associated records within a reasonable period, while retaining a minimal record of the opt-out as required for compliance. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 7, "Your Rights").
6.Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. For subscribers between 13 and 17 years of age, parental or guardian consent is required for use of the Service, and the sign-up form requires the subscriber to confirm such consent has been given. If you believe a child under 13 has been subscribed without parental consent, please contact us so we can promptly delete the associated information.
7.Your Rights
You may, at any time:
